Born and raised in Tupelo, Mississippi, she knows firsthand what it means to build something from the ground up. Life hasn’t always been easy, but her drive to provide a better future for her girls keeps her going. With grace and grit, she works multiple jobs, manages family life, and still finds time to grow Évènte by Shyda — her personal passion turned purpose-driven brand.
Before launching Évènte by Shyda, Shyda spent years styling events for her family and community — birthdays, baby showers, and intimate gatherings filled with heart and detail. She quickly realized she wasn’t just decorating tables — she was creating moments, uplifting spirits, and turning ordinary spaces into unforgettable celebrations.
Her background brings a warm, personal edge to every event she designs. With a bold sense of style, an eye for detail, and deep Southern roots, Shyda infuses every setup with elegance, creativity, and care. Her work is full of purpose — each candle, flower, and backdrop tells a story that reflects the people she serves.

Today, Shyda juggles being a full-time college student studying to become a Healthcare Business Administrator, raising four daughters, and running her brand with love and intention. She’s a true multitasker — provider, student, creative, and CEO. Whether she’s styling a baby shower in Tupelo or a graduation celebration across state lines, Shyda brings her signature touch to every single detail. Because to her, it’s not just an event — it’s someone’s moment. And she’s honored to style it.
